Social Responsibility

Hakvutza is an association dedicated to promoting dance, contact, and improvisation. The school operates on the belief that movement provides a quality of life, empowers, liberates, and brings individuals closer to their essence. We believe in the power of movement as an effective and powerful tool that bridges gaps and conflicts on personal, social, and environmental levels.

Hakvutza operates on two levels:
The association has developed a unique model that allows every man and woman with a passion for dancing to fulfill their dreams and start dancing. It has established a dance school where hundreds of individuals from Israel and around the world dance, evolve, and explore body and movement each year.
On a social level, Hakvutza works towards providing equal opportunities, bridging social gaps, creating dialogue and trust among people of all ages and from all population segments. It aims to promote social, economic, and environmental healing through community activities and projects that integrate art and social activism.

Dancing out of loneliness
Developing mental and physical resilience in the elderly through dance and movement. The project brings together dancers and choreographers with the elderly through contemporary dance classes tailored to the participants’ age, movement therapy sessions, and Pilates classes.
The classes take place in senior clubs and at HAKVUTZA’s facility, conducted by a professional team of instructors with diverse expertise in body, voice, movement, and movement therapy. All instructors have extensive experience in the field of dance and working with the elderly.
