Who is it for: The course is suitable for those with a background in dance (jazz styles, modern or contemporary dance, classical ballet), and for graduates of various courses in the ‘Hakvutza’ (beginners/advanced) who want to continue diving into in-depth technical work while becoming familiar with the modern jazz style.
Course Information:
A dynamic course that allows for a process of technical deepening in a fixed group for 11 weeks. Each session will include an hour of work on the bar, which includes diverse exercises based on classical ballet technique with a contemporary twist, which will build refinement and movement precision, coordination, flexibility and strengthening of the entire body. This work will be the basis from which we approach the second part of the lesson, in which we will learn various dynamic movement sequences that will become longer from lesson to lesson and will also include various jumps and jazz-style floor work. We will work on large movement in space, on refining movement memory and on expressiveness, flow and freedom in movement. The course is suitable for those with a background in dance (in jazz styles, modern or contemporary dance, classical ballet), and graduates of various courses in the ‘group’ (beginners/advanced) who want to continue diving into in-depth technical work while getting acquainted with the modern jazz style.
