Who is it for: Individuals over 18 years old with at least one year of experience in contemporary dance technique, who want to explore movement exploration, delve into emotional processes, and primarily dance and perform on stage.

Course Information:

Creation and Performance Group, Led by Omer Oziel – dancer, choreographer, contemporary dance teacher, and therapist, a framework focuses on creation and performance through the language of contemporary dance. It is designed for those who have experienced contemporary dance and have a passion to explore emotional and energetic materials beyond technique, expanding them into creation and performance.
In the Creation and Performance group, we will delve deeply into movement materials and explore creative processes. We will explore physical practices for expressing ideas, dreams, and fantasies. Through learning, playing, deconstructing, and composing movement materials, we aim to discover the inherent potential in contemporary dance.
The Creation and Performance group is an annual framework consisting of weekly sessions with two creative processes. Each part spans a semester, culminating in a special evening presentation. The creation process is designed for long-term satisfaction, not just immediate gratification of activity and exertion, as in classes based on exercises and movement combinations. There are moments of less intensity and physicality when exploring ideas and testing them, but when we find the root of interest and delve deeper, the satisfaction is even greater, and the experience becomes more profound and meaningful.
Sessions typically begin with warm-ups under specific movement research, move on to floor exercises and improvisation, and continue with learning movement phrases. After a break, we enter into the heart of creation – improvising, playing, learning, and applying movement materials related to the
